Meet The Cheese Wheel team

The Cheese Wheel has been delighting turophiles for a few years now thanks to their curated NZ artisan cheese boxes, it’s why we’re excited they have joined The Good Food Collective! They source cheese all year round from all parts of the country and offer an exciting range including from cow, goat, sheep, buffalo, and even deer. You can order a once-off cheese box or a three-month subscription and be reassured that a premium selection of four artisans cheeses will be delivered to the lucky recipient. Find out what Nancy, The Cheese Wheel founder, has to share about this delicious concept.

TGFC/ How did you get started?
Nancy/ We started The Cheese Wheel almost six years ago, out of love for good cheese but also because we could see how hard it was to access good cheese in NZ, despite the explosion of locally-made artisan cheese.

We love being NZ’s leading artisan Cheese Box subscription company. We work hard to:
• Bring great cheese to people across New Zealand
• Support NZ cheese makers and help them prosper by bringing their cheese to you.

TGFC/ What makes The Cheese Wheel special?
Nancy/ We partner with most small to medium artisan cheese makers in NZ. Each month we deliver around four different NZ artisan cheeses, together with information about the cheese, their makers, and suggested drink pairings.

TGFC/ Do you have a favourite?
Nancy/It’s hard to answer this! There are so many amazing cheeses in NZ once you know where to find them…Maybe a fresh goat cheese log rolled in truffles, maybe a smooth, gooey and a bit stinky washed-rind washed in cider!

TGFC/What is your most popular product?
Nancy/ Our monthly boxes are very popular. Our Cheese Wheelers love the surprise of four different cheeses each month. Our special Xmas Cheese Box is also super popular and sell out each year.
