Congratulations Artisan Winners!

Recently several artisan awards have announced their winners and we’re proud to say many of the producers featured on The Good Food Collective are recipients. This is no small feat given the number of entrants from talented makers located all over New Zealand. Read on to find out more about the artisan award winners.

The 2022 Inspire+ NZ Artisan Awards

More than 1,000 entries were received in The 2022 Inspire+ NZ Artisan Awards making it the largest food award programme in the country. An impressive number of the winners are a part of The Good Food Collective community.

Oliveti Olive Oil Awards

The 2022 Oliveti Olive Oil Awards has announced their winners for the different products related to olive oil. Estuary Olives were recognised with a silver medal in the Blended Oil – Medium class for their Leccino Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

New Zealand Chocolate Awards

The NZ Chocolate Awards are held biannually, and the 2022 winners are now out. Altogether 150 chocolates from 31 chocolate makers and chocolatiers were judged. Lake Hayes Chocolate were awarded a bronze medal in the Bean-to-Bar - Chocolate Bar Plain category.

2022 Fruit Wine & Cider Awards

The winners of the 2022 New Zealand Fruit Wine & Cider Awards have been announced. The awards aim to recognise the high quality of cider produced in New Zealand, as well as the growing range of styles available. For a second year in a row they have equalled the number of entries with 138 participants. 

The Good Food Collective were proud to see our artisans win awards in two categories. 

Under the Mead Category, two of our mead makers come away with amazing awards. Best Mead Trophy Winner was awarded to Beehave Craft Meadery for Fever Dream. Beehave also won gold and silver in the Mead with Spices/Herbs (Metheglin) for Fever Dream and Suckerpunch respectively. Beehave also won gold for their Quattro and Brambled mead and silver for Rhapsody in the Mead with Fruits (Melomel) category.  

Lone Bee was awarded a gold medal in the honey mead section. Read Jamie Oliver's glowing Lone Bee endorsement that came as a surprise for the Lone Bee team.

In the Alcoholic Kombucha/Hard Tea Alice Hard Brew come away as the Trophy Winner for their Herbal Tea - Hibiscus, Rosehip & Apple, and bronze for their Black tea - Strawberry & Vanilla and Rooibos Tea - Orange & Lemon Peel.

Together we’ve curated options that make life good. Many of our giftboxes also feature the award-winning food and drink listed on this page that cater for a variety of lifestyles including allergy friendly and vegan. 

This means that the flavours, the options and the quality will be crowd favourites. Every item is also carefully placed in each box using environmentally friendly packaging.

Ultimately, we’ve created an edible celebration of all things Kiwi.
